Technical Tour of Humanoids 2005 (free of charge)

The technical tour of Humanoids 2005 visits Tsukuba Research Center of AIST, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology that is the leading research institute of Japan. The demonstrations for the tour include biped walking, whole body motions and vision guided motions of humanoid robot HRP-2, 154cm height and 58kg weight. The visitors can also have a chance to see biped walking dinosaur robot (body length of 3.5m, 80kg weight), that was developed for Expo 2005, Aichi.

Advanced registration for the Tour has been made on a first come - first served basis, and on November 8th the applicants number has reached the maximum. In case a "fully booked" message appears when you apply online, there is still a possibility to get a seat onsite, depending on the number of cancellations. Please come to the registration desk by 5pm and put your name on a waiting list on Monday Dec. 5th. We look forward to welcoming you at the meeting.
